Terms of use
Effective 8 October 2026
Who we are
QatarFinds (the website at qatarfinds.com, also reachable at qatar-marketplace.vercel.app, and our app) is operated by Finds Digital Platform, a limited liability company (W.L.L.) owned by one person, registered in Qatar, Commercial Registration No. 253561. Address: Doha, Qatar.
In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Finds Digital Platform, and “you” means anyone who uses QatarFinds. By using QatarFinds, you accept these terms.
What QatarFinds is
QatarFinds is an online classifieds platform that connects buyers and sellers. Sellers post listings, and buyers contact them directly by chat, phone or WhatsApp.
We are not the seller or the buyer, and we are not a party to any deal. We don’t act as a broker, or as anyone’s agent in a deal, we don’t inspect items, and we take no commission. Listings for property, jobs and vehicles are advertisements only: we don’t arrange those deals.
Browsing and posting are free, and no payments are made through QatarFinds. When both people confirm a deal, that only records what they told us: it isn’t a payment, a reservation or a verified purchase.
Who can use it
- Anyone may use QatarFinds. If you are under 18, you may use it only with a parent’s or guardian’s permission, and you should involve them before you meet anyone or make a deal. A parent or guardian can ask us at support@qatarfinds.com to delete a child’s data.
- Anyone can browse. To post, chat, save listings or see a seller’s number, you need an account, which you open with a code we send to your phone number.
- Keep your codes to yourself and don’t let anyone else use your account. You are responsible for what happens in it.
- Your username, published listings, the reviews you write and receive, and when you joined are public. If you turn on Call or WhatsApp for a listing, signed-in users who tap it see your number. Your first and last name are seen only by you and our team.
Your listings
You are responsible for what you post. Each listing must:
- be for one real item or offer that you are allowed to sell or rent;
- describe it honestly, with the right price and category;
- use photos and videos of the actual item;
- follow our community guidelines.
Don’t post:
- anything that is illegal in Qatar, or that you don’t have the right to sell;
- weapons, drugs or other controlled goods;
- sexual or violent content;
- scams, spam, duplicate listings or misleading claims;
- other people’s personal details or identity documents, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights.
Your content stays yours. You allow us to store, show, resize, translate, edit or adapt it (for example, to fix its category or to remove something that breaks these terms), and share it on QatarFinds, and to keep records of it, for as long as we need to run the platform and keep it safe.
Checks, reports and appeals
Before a listing goes live, automated checks, including an AI model, look at its text, its photos and the pictures in its video, and translate it into the other language. Automatic translations can contain mistakes; the seller’s original text is what counts. Some listings wait for a person on our team to review them.
We may refuse, edit, hide or remove listings, and limit or suspend accounts, when we believe they break these terms or the guidelines, or put people at risk.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You can report any listing, account, message or review, and block a member in Messages so they can no longer message you. Our team reviews reports, removes content that breaks these terms, and suspends or closes the accounts responsible.
If we remove your listing or restrict your account, we tell you under Notifications & appeals in your account, and you can appeal there. A person on our team reviews each appeal.
Listings we post for sellers
With a seller’s permission, our team can prepare a listing for them, with the details and photos the seller gives us. We keep the seller’s phone number and a record of that permission. Until the seller signs in, the listing shows as from a “Private seller”, and signed-in users who tap Call seller or WhatsApp on it see the contact number it gives.
When the seller signs in to QatarFinds with that phone number, or verifies it in Edit profile, the listing moves to their account, where they can edit or remove it. If that number already has an account, the listing goes straight into it. If you find a listing about you that you didn’t agree to, ask us to remove it at support@qatarfinds.com.
Dealing with other people
Deals are between you and the other person. We don’t check users’ identities beyond a verified phone number or email address, and we don’t guarantee any listing, item, price, buyer or seller. Meet in a safe public place, check the item before you pay, and never share a sign-in code.
Reviews must be honest and about your own experience.
Don’t harass, threaten or deceive anyone, and don’t use QatarFinds to send spam or to collect other people’s details.
Our responsibility
We work to keep QatarFinds available and safe, but we provide it as it is, and it may sometimes be unavailable. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for items, deals, payments or meetings between users, or for loss caused by another user. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Qatari law that can’t be excluded.
You can stop using QatarFinds at any time, and delete your account yourself in Account (Delete account); the Privacy notice explains what we keep afterwards and for how long. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. The competent courts in Doha will hear any dispute about them.
Contact and complaints
For questions or complaints, email support@qatarfinds.com. Include the listing’s link or your username so we can help.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as QatarFinds changes. We will change the date at the top, and for important changes we will tell you on QatarFinds before they apply. If you keep using QatarFinds after that, the new terms apply to you.
These terms are published in Arabic and English. If the two versions differ, the Arabic version prevails.
